Formally trained as an attorney, more than ten years ago I became passionate in photography, up to the point to make it my profession. I now work as freelance travel photographer and video maker. I have photographed in over 50 countries in Europe, Asia, Americas and Africa, and my photos have been published in news, magazines and television.
Born in Kazakhstan from a Russian family, I moved to Italy in 2006. I speak English, Italian, and Russian.
Recently I've made frequent trips to the Russian arctic, leading tours among the indigenous Nenets people in Yamal, on the Arctic Ocean and the White Sea. I have also been leading many winter photo tours in Siberia at Lake Baikal.
Partnering with the Italian tourist agency based in Reykjavik "Hidden World Travel", I have worked in organizing and leading photographic tours throughout the Icelandic territory. I have captured my photographic impressions about Iceland in my book called Islanda - tutto il calore del freddo (Iceland – All the warmth of the frost)
In addition, I'm also organizing tours in Kamchatka and in Bolivia.
Traveling all over the world is my dream, and I had the privilege of showing some of my videos in Italian TV programs such as "Il Mondo Insieme" (The World Together) and "Eden – un pianeta da salvare" (a planet to save).
