Departure from Italy must take place the day before. Arrival in day-Altaisk on September 20. Hotel accommodation.
From 21 to 27 we will be in the area of Gorniy Altai.
21 September you start towards the road Chuiskiy Trakt, enters the 10 Most Beautiful Streets in the world second by National Geographic .
We will expect the full autumn in the Altai Mountains. Our priority is to photograph autumn landscapes with yellow leaves, Emerald rivers and whitewashed mountains under the first snow.
Every day we will see different places moving with a 4x4, with a local guide who knows every corner of this wonderful place.
In the program:
Chui stretch, Geyser Lake, Chuya River Valley, kartu-Yaryk pass ," planet Mars " with colorful rocks, Aktru Glacier if the weather permits.
From 21 to 27 September we stay in the Altai Mountains. On September 27 we leave for Novosibirsk where we will spend a night. on September 28th departure for Europe. If anyone is interested in staying in Novosibirsk to tour the city should let me know first.
Consider that we will be the first frosts that arrive in the mountains. So the temperature during the day can be +5C but at night it drops to -5, and in the morning it can be quite cold.

The difficulty of travel on a scale of 1 to 10 is 4. We have a 4x4 minivan all the time and we will do about 1000 km. There will be a two-day trek to the aktru Glacier if the weather permits.

We have agreements with an agency that prepares US visas for Russia at the cost of 120€ plus shipping costs with the courier at 25€.
Of course, you can independently apply for a visa to Russia by applying to the Russian Embassy or consulate in Rome, Milan or Verona

We'll eat in the guest houses, Russian breakfast with egg, sausage, tea. During the day we will stop in local trattorias with variety of dishes.

The currency in Russia is the ruble. In the Altai Mountains difficult to make payments with ATM. Then I advise you to withdraw money in Novosibirsk or take with you the Euros and change them on the spot. In May 2019 the exchange rate is 1€=72 rubles. An adult lunch in the Altai can cost about 1800 rubles.
